IBM installing Linux on old PCs

Why does Japan get all the cool stuff? IBM will install Linux, your choice of variety, — “web browser, email client, word processor, etc.” — on old PCs.

Of course, they charge over $60 for this, but if you don’t have a Linux-saavy friend and you want to try it out, or just continue using your old PC with newer software, this’d be the way to go.
