So last night I finished the last book of the entire Narnia Series for the kids. Although C.S. Lewis isn’t the best writer in the world, he certainly has some great moments and I even began to choke up a bit at some points.
Another thing that reading has done is provided me with a great way to interact with my kids. Ginger is funny because, when an old character comes back into the book (as most did in the final chapter), she shouts out “Oh, I remember!” and starts telling us all about somthing that happened back in the first or second book.
And then there is Basil. He is much quieter, but, he’ll get up to go get a drink of water or something and say “Don’t read another word” so I have to wait until he gets back.
