Retro Comparison

Since I got the layout from this page from a CSS-based theme originally designed for Radio (but tweaked to take away a lot of the pixel-based stuff), I wanted to see what the page looked like in browsers without proper CSS support. Hence, these two screenshots from Netscape’s Navigator 3.04 and Navigator 4.8 (released just this month!).

What the comparison tells me is that I should find a way to eliminate the inline images — move them up to the stylesheet — remove all styling information to the seperate style sheet (so the version 4 page looks more similar to the version 3 page) — and use fewer mdashes.
